We have a small chapel in our department where staff and patients spend quiet time. Separate daily prayers are conducted by the staff in the wards and theatres, by the MRD staff in OPD and optometry students in the school of optometry. Weekly Bible study is held for the staff on Thursday evenings in the chapel. Our department conducts once a week prayer on Saturday mornings for all the units together, for the faculty and postgraduates led by our Chaplain, Rev. Deepak based on the theme from Maithri. All staff retreat conducted every year by chaplaincy is well attended. There is a communion service conducted on the 1st Tuesday of every month in our chapel by the Chaplaincy department. Many of our staff take part in the same.
