A. Hospital Management Studies
In-house full time programme:
1. Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital Administration (PGDHA) certified by Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) Mumbai and Christian Medical College Vellore. – one year full time programme.
2. Master in Hospital Administration (MHA) with affiliation from The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai – two year full time programme.
Collaborative full time programme:
3. BBA in Hospital Administration by Christian Medical College Vellore and Auxilium College (Autonomous), Vellore, and Accredited by Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore – three year full time programme. (exclusively for female candidates)
Collaborative Work Integrated Learning Programme:
4. MBA in Hospital Health Systems Management (HHSM) by Birla
Institute of Technology and Sciences (BITS), Pilani, CMC Vellore and Bombay Hospital Mumbai and accredited by BITS, Pilani. This is a 4 semesters, collaborative, Work-Integrated Learning Programme (Distance mode) with virtual online classes and 20 days of Hospital Immersion Component at CMC Vellore & Bombay Hospital, Mumbai. (Previously was offered as a 2 year M.Phil HHSM programme)
5. Diploma in Hospital Administration (DHA) with Christian Medical Association of India (CMAI), New Delhi – one year distance mode.
6. Executive Diploma in Healthcare Management (EDHM) with Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA), Chennai, Tamil Nadu – one year weekend course.
Proposed Programme and Courses:
7. Post Graduate Diploma in Christian Bioethics in collaboration with The Centre for Bioethics, New Delhi along with Bioethics, Distance Education and our department, CMC Vellore – A two year distance learning programme integrating theory and practice. (Likely to start shortly in 2020)
8. A course on Science and Religion with The Faraday Institute for Science and Religion, United Kingdom. Distance mode Work Integrated Learning Programme. (Likely to start shortly)

1. Orientation Training programme for stenographers / clerk – typists – one year programme.
2. Orientation Training Programme for Hospital Attendant and Hospital Housekeeping Attendant – one year programme.
3. Institutional Induction Training Programme for doctors under Principal’s Office.
4. Institutional Induction Training Programme for non-doctors under Principal’s office, Medical Superintendent’s office and General Superintendent’s office
5. Institutional Induction Training Programme for Group D Staff.

7. Management Advancement Programme – MAP for Managerial cadre staff.

C. Missions Oriented Outreach Programmes
1. Management Orientation Visit and Education – MOVE (Gives opportunities for interaction between mission hospital and our management students.
2. Management Assignment Programme – MAP. (Gives opportunities for mission hospitals to give assignments to our management students).
3. Mission Hospital Internship Training & Education – MITE (Gives opportunities for mission hospitals & management students to work towards major projects benefiting mission hospitals).
4. Empowered to Excel as Efficient Leaders – EXCEL (2 days/ management workshop to develop existing and new leaders).
5. NABH Consultation (assistance to small hospitals for obtaining NABH accreditation through certified staff and management students/interns of our department/ Institution).
D. Internship Training Programme
Undergraduate & post graduate students and interns from various colleges & institutes are provided opportunities for internship posting, dissertation & project thesis in the areas of management studies, social work & Bio-Medical Engineering in various department of CMC.
E. Classes for Allied Health Sciences
The department faculty also take classes in Medical Ethics, Hospital Operation Management, Principles of Management and General Management for CMC Allied Health Science students of courses such as, Bachelor of Science in Critical Care Technology, Bachelor of Science in Medical Record Science (BMRSc), Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Medicine Technology, Bachelor of Sciences in Operation Theatre and Anaesthesia Technology, Bachelor in Prosthetics & Orthotics (BPO), Bachelor of Science in Radiology & Imaging Technology and Bachelor of Science in Radiotherapy Technology.
