CMC Vellore’s network of primary, secondary, tertiary and quaternary care teaching hospitals is spread across seven campuses in Vellore, Ranipet and Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh.
Town Campus (1924)
Located at the centre of Vellore City, the Town Campus is the parent node of CMC. The CMC hospital offers a large range of medical specialities, with advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services, alongside primary and secondary level care for local communities.
Schell Campus (1902)
The Schell Campus is CMC’s oldest campus primarily housing the Department of Ophthalmology. It began in 1902 as the 40-bedded Mary Taber Schell Memorial Hospital, in a separate campus around 2 Kilometres from the Main Campus.
College Campus (1932)
The Medical College Campus on the southern outskirts of Vellore City is located at the foot of College Hill. Built-in 1932, it remains, as originally envisaged, a residential community where students and staff can study and reside in serene and beautiful surroundings.
RUHSA Campus (1944)
The Rural Unit for Health and Social Affairs (RUHSA) is CMC’s comprehensive rural site, serving critical needs such as primary and secondary care for families, and numerous family support programmes for residents.
Nursing Campus (2009)
The Nursing Campus houses the College of Nursing, CMC Vellore, the nursing hostels and residential complexes. The college has evolved into a prominent institution renowned for its unwavering commitment to producing skilled and compassionate nurses.
CMC Vellore Chittoor Campus (2011)
The CMC Vellore Chittoor Campus, in southern Andhra Pradesh, has been offering medical services since 2011. The campus is now a rapidly growing broad speciality hospital and has state-of-the-art operation theatres, a good diagnostic laboratory and outreach programmes for primary health centres and schools.
CMC Vellore Ranipet Campus (2022)
The CMC Vellore Ranipet Campus is a Level 1 trauma care and multi-speciality and the biggest expansion of CMC. The campus was officially declared open in June 2022 for patient care.
